Alpaca Eco Sock

This yarn has twofold qualities, firstly it has Easywash Alpaca which is treated with enzymes to reduce the shrinking properties of the fabric, and instead of Nylon, we have added Linen as the strengthener. This has resulted in a lovely caramel yarn base which takes the dye nicely, and colours appear slightly muted and sophisticated on this base. Speckles will spread. The resulting fabric is soft with a gentle halo. We knitted the sock in the round on 2.25mm, but for a tighter fabric, you could go smaller to a 2mm. This would work well for weaving.
