BFL Donegal 4ply

This is the Bluefaced Leicester version of our type 49145. This is a strong high twist yarn with non-dyeable Donegal neps, these resist the dye remaining prominent in the yarns. This particular yarn has a warm undertone due to the neps being blended into the yarn, it takes the dye really well and knits up into a lovely fabric with a super drape. We used a 2.75mm needle for a flat swatch, but if you wanted to knit these as socks a 2.25mm needle would make a stronger fabric. Due to the long staple length, the Bluefaced Leicester adds strength to this yarn, and it would make good socks.
