BFL Silk Lace

Bluefaced Leicester and silk are a classic pairing. This yarn takes the dye really well, is plump enough so that speckles show up and has a glorious shine. This yarn works really well for glazing and layering techniques, the colours appear strong and pearlescent. With great yardage, and since the yarn plumps up once knitted, this makes a great lightweight garment yarn as well as being a great lace shawl yarn. It is one of our favourites.
