Singles BFL Sock

This singles yarn is a little more robust than type 49157. The toothy texture of the Bluefaced Leicester reduces the pilling of this construction. It creates a light airy fabric when knitted. The yarn takes the dye really well, and speckles work great on this yarn. Sometimes the yarn goes curly when its wet, this can be remedied by drying under tension. Although this is called a sock yarn, as the yarn is a singles we do not recommend this yarn for socks.
