Bluefaced Silky Sport

We love Bluefaced Leicester paired with silk. The silk softens the fabric and adds to the natural shine of the Bluefaced Leicester. This is a gorgeous high twist sport yarn with the addition of Nylon to give it strength. The yarn takes the dye super well, the colours are bright, and speckles work really well. All types of dyeing styles work well on this yarn, but it works especially well with glazing techniques. This is suitable for accessories and sweaters and would also work well as a sock yarn on a tight gauge.
