Bright Sock 4ply

We call this bright sock because the Tencel shines and adds to the brightness of the yarn. We recommend using acid dyes for this blend, the wool takes the dye well enough to compensate for the Tencel which will not take the acid dye. Bright strong colours can be achieved, and speckles spread, but they pop against the base. We do not recommend this for socks as the yarn drapes and does not have enough bounce to hold its shape for this purpose. For shawls and garments however, it works a treat.
