Cotton Aran

This multi-ended, natural cotton has a lovely shine and crisp stitch definition. This yarn is a cellulose fibre, so we recommend using Procion MX/ Fiber reactive dyes on this yarn, Acid dyes will not work. This also works really well with natural dyes. See notes here for an extra scouring step instructions for this yarn. This yarn takes the dye well. We knitted this yarn on a smaller needle (3.75mm) than would be considered correct for a wool Aran yarn to compensate for the cotton stretch.
