Egyptian Lace 600

This is a lovely soft and shiny but yet has a rustic quality from the linen. The linen lends it a light warm cream colour. With slightly less yardage than Type 49040, this lace knits almost to a 4ply tension. The yarn takes the dye nicely and colours appear soft and muted. This yarn would make wonderful layering or summer garments, and thicker shawls. The fabric has a shine and is smooth with a little texture from the linen. This yarn would work well for weaving.
