Egyptian Yak DK

This is a wonderful DK with the addition of yak this gives this luxury yarn a little texture. The natural grey colour of the yarn gives a lovely rich undertone to the dyeing, it is light enough to see speckles, although these are not so prominent but do appear as a sophisticated technique on this yarn. The linen does not take acid dyes, but this blends in with the natural colour so this doesn’t contrast once dyed.

This knits into a lovely soft fabric with a little rustic texture to it. This would make wonderful shawls and sweaters.
