Highland Sport

This is a toothy yarn with a fantastically tight twist. It is rustic in nature, and an exceptionally strong yarn. Being highland wool, the natural colour can appear creamy sometimes, but this varies from lot to lot. It does take the dye exceptionally well for a non superwash and speckles can be achieved. It knits up into a fabric which keeps a crisp texture and stitch definition, we have made a few sweaters from this yarn, and they look as good today as the day they were knitted. A firm favourite with Jen! If knitted on a tight gauge, this would work for a sock yarn.
