Imperial Alpaca 4ply

This is something a little special, Imperial alpaca is some of the finest alpaca ever grown with a micron of 18!! This is finer than baby alpaca. It is a gorgeous fibre. Andy chose the twist for this one, and it has got a high twist to it, which gives the yarn a lovely texture, and the resulting fabric more body reducing the drop that can occur with Alpaca. The yarn takes the dye really well, and the colours are more muted. It is a gorgeous yarn and something quite special as this is only produced in very small quantities.
