Pima Air DK

This is a gorgeous cotton yarn.

It is soft and velvety and plump with a soft twist, making it squishier than our other cottons. The yarn takes the dye really nicely. We recommend Procion MX/ Fiber reactive dyes for this yarn.

We used a 3.75mm needle to keep the fabric a bit denser and it worked nicely. We think this would make a wonderful woven fabric, but care would need to be taken using it as a warp (although strong enough), as it is softly spun, and continued friction may make the fibres fluff up.
