Pima Cotton Lace

This is a delicate matt lace. We recommend using Procion MX/Fiber reactive dyes with this yarn, we also find that an extra preparation step can make a difference to the colour uptake for this fibre, see here for more information on scouring cellulose fibres. Once prepared the yarn will take the dye really well, without extra prep the colours will be nice, but they will appear more muted and soft. The knitted fabric is super light and drapey, lace stitches are well defined in this fabric, and it is great for shawls, or for light summer garments.
