Pure Silk Singles 4ply

This yarn is bright and shiny. The yarn takes the dye really well, and speckles pop! The fabric is shiny and drapey. Since this yarn can be slippery, care needs to be taken when you are dyeing it not to mess the skeins up, a reduction in the water movement helps this considerably. Silk can sometimes lose its shine at hot temperatures and high acid levels, but we dye this the same as any other yarn and it maintains its shine really well, we have had no problems with loosing shine.
