Sheila's Gold Sock

One of our favourite sock yarns. This bouncy base is a joy to dye and knit and looks great in the skein. It sucks up the dye and speckles work really well on this yarn, as do glazing techniques and pretty much anything you want to do to it. The construction is very robust so can take a hammering.

The fabric holds its shape and has a gentle texture on the knit stitches. It works really well for socks, and garments, and is a great choice for children’s clothing as it is soft and long lasting. A great all-rounder.
