Thick & Thin DK

A thick and thin version of type 49218, this yarn is a delight. The changes in thickness provide a gentle undulation of texture. The yarn sucks up the dye and it speckles extremely well. This yarn is a singles so care needs to be taken if hand painting or using a technique that uses a lot of abrasion against the fibres as it may pill. The resulting knitted fabric is gorgeous, it is softly textured and would make super cowls and accessories, sweaters in this yarn would also be nice.

Speckles are also interesting as they split over the multi ends and separate out even more, it’s a lovely effect.

Suitable for sweaters and accessories, the fabric has a nice drape, we knitted this on a 3.75mm, but a 3.5mm needle would work well too.
