Wensley Lux

A smooth silky yarn with the characteristic lustre of Wensleydale. We added some alpaca into this blend to create something really nice. The yarn has a gentle halo when knitted from the alpaca and the Wensleydale. The yarn takes the dye nicely and colours are soft, it is similar to an alpaca yarn. We used a 3.5mm needle on this yarn to see how it would hold its fabric, and this created a lovely drapey fabric, which blocks out really nicely. Lace pattern stitches would also work nicely in this yarn.
