Yak Singles 4ply - 25 x 20g Minis

Our yak singles is a lovely soft naturally coloured base. The Yak provides a warm undertone to the dyeing on this yarn. The yarn takes the dye well, although speckles do not show up on this base and generally spread. The resulting fabric has a lovely stitch definition and gentle halo from the yak. This would work as a weft but may not be robust enough for a warp as it may wear. This makes a lovely open fabric, really nice for shawls.
